MONTANA Margaret Larry Alan Coladonato Hendrickson Nov. 3, 1946-July 5, 2009 LOON LAKE, Wash. Margaret Maria Coladonato, 62, died on July 5, 2009, at her home in Loon 1 Lake, Wash. She was born Nov. 3.1946.

in Butte, to Michael and Margaret Coladonato, the secondoldest of 12 children. Maria grew up in Walkerville. Margaret, affectionately known as Maria, has Coladonato two children, Tina and Terri. Maria's husband of seven years, Dennis Stapleton, died April 14, 2009, in Loon Lake. Maria was a Catholic and remained a deeply spiritual person all her life.

Maria is best known for her rigatonis and wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh and make people laugh with her wonderful "gift of gab" and storytelling. She loved gardening, travel, crafts, entertaining friends and family. In 1975, Maria took guardianship of five of her little brothers and sisters, and her family of four grew overnight to a family of nine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Margaret Coladonato; and brothers, Michael, Marshall and Mark Coladonato.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Alain) Coladonato of Phoenix and Terri Lynn Curran of Butte; brothers, Milo, Coladonato of Missoula, Melvin (Stephanie) Coladonato of Reno, Nev. and Matt (Laurie) Coladonato of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Martha (Steve) Guidoni of Butte, Marlenea (Pat) Smith of Butte, Michon (Rick) Rieben of Post Falls, Idaho and Montana Coladonato of Missoula. Services were held in Loon Lake on July 9. Cremation has Guy Douglas Riggin ELLISTON Guy Douglas Riggin of Elliston, formerly from Great Falls, was killed 1 in a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, west of Ovando. He was born Dec.

23, 1958, to Elmer Riggin and Jackie Spencer in Havre. Guy attended schools in Great Falls and graduated from CMR in 1977. He then went to MSU in Bozeman. He was married to Vickie Thomas in May 1982. Born to this union is Cassie, 26, of Helena, Trey, 24, of Ulm and Jack, 22, of Great Falls.

He was a devoted, loving father that spent his free time Riggin playing and Riggin teaching his kids. For more than 10 years he was on the slopes every Saturday coaching his kids so that one day they could ski as fast as him. His passion was building and he made an excellent career out of it and built every house he and his family lived in. In October 2005, he married Millissa Schmit in Great Falls. Soon after that he made his home in Elliston, where he continued to build.

He was recently working at the Rolling Dog Ranch in Ovando constructing outbuildings, arenas and any other task that needed to be done. There wasn't a thing Guy couldn't teach, do, or learn. He did so with an enthusiasm that would exhaust the normal person. Guy is preceded in death by his father Elmer; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his children Cassie Riggin, Trey Riggin and Jackie Riggin; mother Jackie Spencer of Willow Creek; brother Greg Riggin of Great Falls; sisters Michelle (Mark) Jordan of Everett, Patty (Bill) Rafferty of Willow Creek, Barbara (Keith) Larson of Cut Bank; and his wife Millissa Riggin.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. 1. Monday, July 27, at the Hillcrest Lawn Chapel in Great Falls. A reception at the Ulm School will follow at 5 p.m.. Memorials may be made to his business partner Kevin Marquis children's college trust fund or to Rolling Dog Ranch in Ovando.

Thomas OBITUARIES OBITUARIES ALAMEDA, Calif. William H. Thomas, 74, of Alameda, passed into eternal life April 5, 2009, in Alameda. Bill was born Nov. 23, 1935, to his proud parents, Dan and Mary Thomas of Dubois, Idaho.

He grew up in California; Dubois, Idaho; and Thomas Montana. In 1953, Bill graduated from Ronan High School in Ronan. Bill entered the U.S. Navy in 1954 to see the world. After his discharge in 1957, he entered MSU in Missoula, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Business in 1962, which led him to a business career in office management and finance.

In 1959, Bill met and married Eunice McAlear and into that union a son was born in 1960, Kirk H. Thomas. Bill had many interests and hobbies. He especially had a passion for antiques, flea markets and garage sales. But all of these interests took second place to his enjoyment of his family and friends.

Bill also enjoyed Florence A. Glenn HAMILTON Florence A. Glenn, 94, of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born May 24, 1915, in Corvallis, the daughter of Benjamin and Callie May Severns. Florence was raised and educated in Corvallis and graduated from Corvallis High School.

She married Bob Glenn on May 6, 1934, in Hamilton. She spent her life as a homemaker and mother and also helped Bob on the farm. Florence enjoyed reading and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 1982; her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Gay McDonald and husband James of Darby; her sister Lorna Randolph of Klamath Falls, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, at the Corvallis Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials be made in Florence's name to the Marcus Daly Hospice Endowment Fund, 1200 Westwood Drive, Hamilton, MT 59840, or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Trent N. Toms SEELEY LAKE Trent N. Toms of Seeley Lake, 67, was transferred home to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 19, 2009, in Missoula. Trent was born Jan. 23, 1942, raised with older sister Toni Wilson of Priest River, Idaho, and younger sister Tammy Bauer of Billings, by grandparents in Logan and graduated from High School in Forsyth.

He served six years in the U.S. Navy as a machinist. He married Glenda Hardin in 1964 and had three children, Karl Toms of Marysville, Toms Kati Pereira of Modesto, Toms and Dustin Toms of Renton, Wash. Trent worked as a machinist for about 20 years, owning his own business 15 years. He spent eight to 10 years in the Seattle area and married Cynthia "Sam" Slater.

Trent was also in sales. He moved back to Montana in 1998 and was a semi- retired owner operator of an ornamental iron shop in Seeley Lake. A lot of good things happened in Trent's life, the latest being his partner, Kathy Augustinas of Missoula. He would say that God sent him an angel when talking about her. He would tell you he had a wonderful life and a lot of expensive hobbies that caused him to meet numerous good people.

He is also survived by his mother, Lola Mortensen; granddaughters Sara Neary and Veronica Toms; and several half- brothers and sisters. A going -away party will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 27, at Mission Bible Fellowship Church on Highway 83 in Seeley Lake with Pastor Gary Wayne officiating. Burial will follow at Seeley Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and Care of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory in Missoula.

Richard 'Steve' Holmes Larry Alan Hendrickson, 63, passed away at his home in Fountain Hills, June 10, 2009. Larry was born June 18, 1945, to Sima and John FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. Hendrickson of Sweeney Creek. Larry is survived by his wife Gwen (Willson). Larry and Gwen would have celebrated their 39th anniversary Aug.

12. Larry graduated from FlorenceHendrickson Carlton High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in fine arts from the University of Montana. He was an accomplished artist whose paintings grace the homes of many people. He had an outstanding career with Montgomery Ward and was at the top of professional achievement as field supervisor. Larry was a free spirit following paths that others did not follow, yet those paths always led him home.

The path he walks now is one of eternal peace, grace and wellness. His charismatic personality will be deeply missed and long remembered. In his paintings, he wove a pattern of magic and mysticism of constancy and artistry that will always be looked upon with awe and wonder. His mischievous grin, his infectious laugh, his sense of rightness and the love are family are gifts he has given us. Vaya con dios, Larry.

Pauline Munson GREAT FALLS Pauline Munson, 81, of Great Falls and Helena, died of natural causes on Monday, July 20, 2009, in Great Falls. A burial service will be held at 11 a.m.

Monday, July 27, at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Harrison in Helena. Pauline was born July 18, 1928, to John and Rosina Mehlhoff in Garrison, N.D. Following graduation from Garrison High School, she was employed as an operator by Munson Bell Telephone until her marriage to Garfield Munson in Dodson in 1948. During the years that they lived in Drummond, she was active in school organizations and in her church where she taught Sunday School and Bible School classes for many years. She was also a 52-year member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 125.

After moving to Helena, she worked at the Driver Services Division of the Department of Justice and was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church. She was accomplished in sewing and needlework and enjoyed spending time with family. She is survived by a son, Gary (Sheila) Munson of Farmington, N.M.; daughters Paula (Ken) Kolar of Geyser and Janet (Bill) Younger of Seattle; grandchildren Angela (Matt) Page of Glasgow and Neil (Jamie) Kolar of Bozeman; greatgrandchildren Ellie, Emma, and Gina Page of Glasgow; a brother Melvin Mehlhoff of Bismarck, N.D., and a sister Alvina Flath of Milwaukie, Ore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield. Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Monday, July 27, at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel in Missoula. Elsie passed away May 14, 2009. CORVALLIS Richard "Steve" Holmes, 39, of Corvallis, went to be with his only son, Justin, on the night of July 21, 2009. A great reunion it must have been. We mourn his loss but know in our hearts he is suffering no longer.

Steve was born Feb. 5, 1970, in the snowbound town of Glasgow, the son of Richard and Rita Holmes. Steve moved home to the Bitterroot that same Holmes spring of 1970 and has remained here ever since, except a few short stints in Walla Walla, Wash. He graduated from Corvallis High School as a third generation. Steve loved camping and fishing with family and friends, especially his favorite spots up Lost Horse and on the West Fork.

He also loved taking his dog, Buck, down to the river for a swim on hot summer days. Steve was a people person who always had a smile for a stranger no matter what the circumstance. Steve had a big smile for everyone that brightened your day when you were down. He was loved by his family and friends and that smile will be sorely missed by us all. Steve had sorrows when he lost his son but tried not to show his ache.

There is a time and a reason for us all and God called him home to be with Justin. Steve was a joy to know. Steve worked in construction most of his life. He was an artist in building beautiful homes and helping his dad create unique antler lamps, chandeliers and artwork; he got to be the best at this. Steve loved family and could not get enough of being close to them.

He enjoyed going to his kid's football, volleyball, soccer and basketball games. He learned to become supporters of both Corvallis and Hamilton. Steve would travel with family to others places but would become grumpy the longer he was away from his home in the Bitterroot Valley. Steve was preceded in death by his beloved son, Justin Holmes, who waits for him in Heaven; and also his grandparents, Pauline Holmes, Jessie Holmes and Pershing Menager. He is survived by his parents, Rich and Rita Holmes of Corvallis; his brother, James Holmes and wife Ramelle and their children Nicole, Josh and Kaylie, all of Corvallis; his grandmother, Donna Hosko and her friend Jerry Rasmussen; his favorite companion, Nancy Hnizdil and her children, Eric, Kelsey and Andrew Brangoccio, all of Hamilton; and his dog Buck.

Services will be held at 10. a.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Daly-Leach Chapel with a reception following in the funeral home's community room. Private family interment will take place at a later date. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.

A plea agreement struck earlier this month calls for a 20-year suspended sentence and would allow Kapsa to keep six spayed or neutered companion animals. She may also ask the judge to allow her to keep another 20 dogs from those seized. At sentencing, Watters will determine how long Kapsa should remain on probation, how many animals she can keep and how much she owes in restitution. parties, fishing, swimming and traveling to the islands of Hawaii, Fiji, Cook Islands, Australia and Maui. Bill was a devout member of the First Christian Church in Alameda for many years. He loved his church and its members. Bill leaves to remember him his loving wife of almost 50 years, Eunice Thomas; and his son Kirk, both of Alameda; three brothers and their wives, Dr. Gerald and Jean Thomas of Las Cruces, N.M., Walter and Betsy Thomas of West Jordan, Utah, and John and JoAnn Thomas of Cordova, Alaska.

Many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will also remember him. Graveside services with military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the Lakeview Cemetery in Polson. Following the services, a reception will be held at Mrs. Thomas' home in Polson located at 1201 15th Ave.
