ELEMENTARY, HELLGATE FLORENCE- Drummond, boy. uec. to, at her home in Grantsdale. Florence Edith KOMBI Heineman Wenger Charles Cordis Sr. ARLEE Charles William "Bill" Cordis 83, of Arlee, died of natu-, ral causes Sunday, Dec.

10, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. He was born Sept. 23, 1906, in Ansley, to Fred H. and Dora Lubbs Cordis.

On April 4, 1932, he married Grace Marie Adams in Kimball, Neb. They moved to the Mission Valley in February 1933 where they farmed. He was employed by the Northern Pacific Railroad as a section hand from 1951 until he retired in 1969. Mr. Cordis was an avid fisherman, gardener and orchardist.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, a son and granddaughter. Survivors include his wife, Arlee; three sons, Leon, Plains; Ray, Ronan; and Charles Arlee; four daughters, Elveria Darrow, Potomac; De-lores Hayes, East Missoula; Dorothy Munguia, Billings; Carol Johnston, Missoula; two brothers, Walter and George, both of St. Ignatius; two sisters, Margret Hiatt, Missoula; and tella Peterson, San Mateo, 30 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Kingdom Hall of Jeho- vah's Witnesses in St.

Ignatius. Ted Crossley will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in St. Ignatius. Visitation will be Wednesday morning at Fearon Riddle Funeral Chapel in St.

Ignatius. Lillian M. McLaughlin STEVENSVILLE Lillian M. McLaughlin, 85, Stevensville, died of natural causes Tuesday, Dec. 12, at North Valley Nursing Home in Stevensville.

Services will be announced by Whitesitt Funeral Home in ville. Clarence B. Westcott MISSOULA Clarence B. Westcott, 84, died of natural causes Tuesday, Dec. 12, at his home in Missoula.

Following her retirement, she went to work for Ohio Sen. Howard Met-zenbaum in Washington, D.C. A lifelong liberal, she was proud of having voted for Norman Thomas each time he ran for president.

In 1982, she moved to Missoula to help her daughter's family. She was secretary of the Montana Retired Teachers Association and was active in the University Congregational Church and American Association of University Women. She also volunteered at the Missoula Museum of the Arts. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph. She is survived by her husband, their daughter, Susan Duffy, and two granddaughters, all of Missoula; and two sisters, Dorothy Swartzlander, KID'S FASHION COLORS with Waterguard Reg.

$22.00 SALE MEN'S FASHION COLORS i It MISSOULA Florence Edith Heineman Wenger, 76, of Missoula, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, of a heart attack. She was a teacher for 42 years. She was born to Edith and Forest Heineman in Elmore, Ohio, on Feb. 16, 1913.

She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education at Ohio State University. On July 31, 1942, she married Roy E. Wenger in Columbus, Ohio, and they soon moved to Montana, where he was director of the Civilian Public Service Smokejumpers Camp at See-ley Lake and she was the camp nutritionist. She also taught the demonstration kindergarten class at the University of Montana. After World War II ended, she returned to Ohio with her husband and continued to teach.

Her career spanned four continents and students from preschool age through those doing postgraduate university work. Among her most challenging experiences were two years as principal of an international elementary school in Tokyo and a summer in West Africa teaching primary school teachers through the Operation Crossroads program. Memorials may be made to the church, to Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City or to the Missoula Museum of the Arts. William Fritz STEVENSVILLE William L. Fritz, 74, Stevensville, died of natural causes Monday, Dec. 11, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.

He was born June 20, 1915, in Butte to William and Catherine Fritz. He received his education in Butte and later worked for Murray Motors there. Mr. Fritz served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World Warll.

He married Ceraldine M. McElli-gott on March 3, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo. Mr. Fritz was employed by General Motors Corp. for 28 years, retiring in Stevensville in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Stevensville; four sons, Bill, Flint, Jack and Mike, both of Salt Lake City; and Ed, Esmont, four daughters, Martha Ann Lytic, Colorado Springs, Mary Pat Everill, Boise, Idaho; Cathy Farmer, Stevensville; and Lucy Read, Kremmling, a brother, Jack, Silver Spring, a sister, Nan Johns, Butte; and 16 grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville. Rosary will be recited 7: 30 p.m. Wednesday.

Mass will be celebrated II a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery with the Rev.

Anna Ridnour POLSON Longtime Poison resident Anna Charlotte Ridnour, 91, died of natural causes Monday, Dec. 11, at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Ronan. She was born in Washburn, N.D., on March 5, 1898, to Charles and Gunhild Johnson. She was raised and attended schools in North Dakota.

On Sept. 2, 1917, she married Everett Glee Ridnour at Turtle Lake, N.D., and moved to Wilsall. They moved to Poison in 1930. Mrs. Ridnour was employed by Safeway in Poison for 23 years, She was a member of the Extension Club, Royal Neighbors and First Baptist Church Bible Circle, all of Poison.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972, a brother and grandson. Survivors include a daughter, Mar-jorie Rollins, St. Ignatius; three sons, Woodrow, Poison; Bud, Missoula; and Dale, Spokane; 14 grandchildren, 29 greatgrandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Babtist Church Poison with the Rev.

Rudy Ringhoff officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Moslcy-Shrider Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
