West Side Club Closes Season With Annual Spring Party West Side Club closed its tivities of the spring with its annual luncheon and gift presentation to the school on Friday last weekend in Lowell School, gymnasium. The club presented a typewriter stand to the school. The room had been decorated as a colorful garden scene for the seventh and eighth grade party Friday night and the club hostesses continued this theme in the table decorations, with gay painted nuteups and streamers, centerpieces of garden flowers. The teachers and janitor were Mrs. Sam Rouse, the club, welcomed them and R.

L. Neal gave the response, also expressing appreciation later for the gift the school. Mrs. Henry Larson was in, charge of the program during the luncheon. She presented Leon Collins, Garald Ramer and Larry Woodard, who played accordion numbers.

Orchard Homes WomClub Chorus members who sang were Mesdames Leona Ashby, Robert Ambrose, Richard Dunton, H. A. Kuhl, Bud Kenniston, Don Rice and Gordon Swanson, accompanied by Mrs. Homer Williamson. Mike Smuin concluded the program with a tap dance.

Fellowship's Luncheon Well-Attended Christian Women's Fellowship of the First Christian Church entertained a large group of members and out-of-town guests at a Friendship Day luncheon Thursday. Tables were decorated with flowers and miniature, parasols, to which Bible verses. Mrs. Edwin Ash led devotions and singing.

Mrs. James Rother Jr. directed the program, which included two skits presented by the Gish and Hunt groups of the local church, a chalk talk by Mrs. Harold Brown and introduction of ministers' wives and fellowship presidents and guests present from Anaconda, Deer Lodge, Polson and Hamilton. Silver Belles sang "Little Ole Elaine Taylor provided organ music for the evening and Ruth Black substituted as pianist. Margaret Squire and Effie Mugridge presented checks to the worthy matron from their respective clubs for the year's project. Lunch was served in the diningroom from a buffet table decorated with a replica of a spinning wheel and an old-fashioned mother in a rocking chair. The next meeting will be a memorial program May 26. Picnic of Lowell Group to Be Event of June When Lowell Home Demonstration Club met Wednesday evening at 509 Brooks plans were made for the club's annual picnic in June.

Students of Treva Preston Dance School provided entertainment. The inspection meeting followed the dinner, at 8 p.m.

Steele, auditor. Reports on the County Federation meeting were given by Mrs. R. T. Richardson, Mrs.

Charles Miller, Mrs. Don Rice and Miss Gertrude Wilcox. Outgoing officers and committee chairmen gave their annual reports. The club decided to have several money parties in the summer the fund it will making give toward the Memorial Chapel at Galen. Numbers by the club chorus closed the meeting.

Talk on Frozen Foods Given At Club Session Using a color theme of blue and yellow, Rhea Burkland and Sue Adams were hostesses Monday evening at a shower in honor of Audrey Parent, who is to be married to James Pickens June 4. Floral decorations were blossoms in the chosen colors and place favors were miniature umbrellas in blue and yellow. Prizes at the games which provided entertainment were given to Harlene Page, Beth Gamelgard, Pat Shoup and Marie Jensen. The proper methods of wrapping and containers for best freezing results were discussed, as well as various freezing problems. 19. Group to Study Music Is Newly Formed A music study group, affiliated with the State and National Federation of Music Clubs, was or ganized Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. J. 0. Youngquist, West Rattlesnake.

Officers elected were Miss Helen D. White, president; Miss Eleanor Dahlberg, vice president, and Mrs. Paul Campanello, urer. Others attending were Mes. dames Robert Boyer, Rex Gibbs, Fred Knuchel, Earl McConnell, Lyle Smith and Miss June Dutton.

It was announced by the offi cers that women of the Rattle snake area interested in joining the group might obtain information about it by calling Mrs. Christian Church kitchen. Montana Clinic.
