Hogle Co. The Dow Jones industrial aver. age was 710.66, 5.79, fifteen rails were 172.07, off 2.68, utilities were 139.23, off .12, and 65 stocks were 255.37, off 2.17. Total sales, 3,290,000 shares. NEW YORK (AP)-Worry over rail labor troubles which could lead either to a nationwide strike or to government intervention overhung Wall Street Monday and the market took another steep loss.

Rails and motors were prominent in the decline. The atmosphere was darkened further by decline in weekly steel production. Most of the major steels took losses but their declines were moderate. Slackness in trading as prices yielded was one of the consolations for those who hope to see higher prices before the summer is over. The low turnover robbed the decline of emphasis.

Volume was 3.29 million compared with 2.92 million shares in the Friday, post-holiday session, the lightest day in half a year. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 5.79 to 710.66. The Associated Press average of 60 stocks declined 2.0 to 271.1, with industrials off 2.7, rails off 2.3 and utilities off .3. Liquidation Hits Soybean Futures CHICAGO (AP) Liquidation hit the soybeans futures hard Monday on the Board of Trade and all contracts were driven into broad losses, some more than eight cents a bushel. The grains also were generally weak with corn slipping about three cents on the new crop months as speculators scanned reports of rainfall in parts of the Midwest over the weekend.

Traders said there hardly could be any doubt that the rain had washed out immediate danger of severe and widespread crop damage for a while, at least. Hedge selling of wheat, although light, was enough to meet all the commercial and other demand for that grain. At the close, soybeans were 6 to cents a bushel lower, July corn cents lower, July wheat lower to higher, July oats lower. July cents asked; rye lower, July $1.26. CHICAGO (AP)- Prev.

Stears Sep Dec GN Rail Traffic Moving Normally HAVRE (AP)-Great Northern Railroad traffic was moving normally Monday although trains were slowing down for washout areas where workmen replaced a total of 2,300 feet of track over the weekend. There were several areas where flash floods weakened the GN roadbed in the Milk River Valley other than the major washout that derailed nearly half of a 125- car freight Friday afternoon, killing two transient passengers and injuring five others. Three of the men remained hospitalized in Havre Monday night. GN officials figured 32 of the 53 derailed cars were a total loss. A new freight car costs $14,000.

A number of the cars and spilled freight still littered the right of way. M. H. Sommers, assistant GN superintendent at Havre, said the total loss still had not been figured but company claims officials from St. Paul were in the process of assessing the loss.
